People for Woodstock was formed in 1999 by a diverse group of concerned citizens whose objective was—and continues to be—to protect and enhance our quality of life by supporting intelligent, forward-thinking, open-minded and responsive City Council candidates. People for Woodstock has since expanded its focus to include school board candidates. It also actively reviews referendum and ballot proposals for their effect on our quality of life.
